Bunni Pile

Oh my gosh, I don't even know how to explain this...

Basically, I drew one bunny, then another bunny, then I got carried away and made a whole story. So maybe I'll make this into a graphic novel or something, but I really like these characters I created. I even named these bunnies after people from my life.

From the BunniDumpling Kingdom, there is a small community in a place called the Thicket. Here is where the family and friends of Bunni Pile reside.

Starting from the right...


Purple Winged Bunny: Malaika

Malaika is about 14 years old and is an inventor and a genius. One day, she was set on learning how to fly after watching a flock of geese, and decided to make her own wings. After collecting feathers and gathering certain materials, she was able to fashion herself a set of wings. The problem is, after making the accident of wearing them so long, they have literally become a part of her, and she cannot take them off. This doesn't bother her, however, and she continues to fly as she pleases.
Malaika is very reserved and is not a talkative character. She prefers to stay at home and create or going to off to fly instead of playing with her friends, and is sometimes mistaken as rude or stuck up.
*Artist note: Malaika means Angel in Swahili


Pair of bunnies kissing: Peter(Right) and Whitney(Left)

Peter and Whitney are the love struck couple that you see at a park sitting on a bench. Peter is about 25 and Whitney is 22.
These two often love to sled down hills on their tummies during the winter season, and during the annual winter sledding competition, they are always the champions. These two are inseparable, deeply in love.
However, these two get in their share of fights, of course. Whitney is very OCD about cleanliness, and Peter is a more laid-back bunny. That doesn't get in the way of their love, though (;


Four small bunnies: Baby Bubble Bunnies

These are Peter and Whitney's children and they all look exactly alike(when they grow up, however, they'll grow their own colours). Only Peter and Whitney know their names(Benson, Baylyn, Brad, and Bella), while everyone else just calls them the Bubbles. They each are only 2 years old, and wreak havoc in Thicket.


Purple and Pink rabbits: Ron(Purple) and Rita(Pink)

Ron and Rita are fraternal twins, exact opposites of each other. They are about 16 years old.
Ron is a bunny that is always bored. He often rolls his eyes, especially when it comes to his sister, and lacks being entergetic about anything but Malaika(whom he secretly admires). He loses his temper a little too much, yelling at everyone when he doesn't get his way, and is often seen as the grump of the group. Deep down, he really is sweet, but he rarely shows it.
Rita, however, is a fun-loving, party animal. She's kind to everyone and a bit weird. She says things that don't make sense and is often seen embarrassing her brother. Rita has the problem of not really thinking about the feelings of her brother, and often drags him along in her wild adventures.


Green bunny under Rita and Ron: Kim

Kim is a mother-like character, 27 years old. She cares for everyone and treats them like her own. She cares deeply for each and every one of them, although she often wears herself out by pushing herself too hard. She is the younger sister of Alex.
Kim has the problem of never thinking about her own welfare, and sometimes ends up hurting herself in the end(to the despair of Alex).

Red Bunny: Alex

Alex is the older brother of Kim, and is never really around because he is off traveling distant lands. When he does come home to the Thicket, he brings back souvenirs for everyone and new stories for the children to listen to. He is 29 years old.
Alex is sort of a grandpa-like character, even though he is far from it. He has a girlfriend who lives in a the neighboring community(in KnotHole), and is always pestered by Kim to get married. He is looked up to by Noah.
Alex brags a little too much sometimes, and is often nagged by Kim to focus on some work instead of planning his next trip.


Big Blue Bunny: Uncle Mike

Uncle Mike is a huge bunny, and has a huge appetite. No one knows his age. He is known to be able to eat anything. Uncle Mike acts just like an uncle to everyone, treating everyone like family and playing with the children. No one knows how he got to Thicket, he was found sleeping in a hollow tree with half of a lettuce leaf. When people asked him where he came from, he couldn't remember how he got there, or even who he was. However, the whole Thicket community took him in as a part of their big family, and he's been there ever since.
Uncle Mike is very lazy, not doing much work(to the anger of most of the citizens of Thicket, for he is very strong).


Carrot-holding bunny: Noah

Noah is a young boy still in elementary school, about seven years old. He likes to collect carrots instead of eating them because he likes the colour. His carrot collection is stored underground, where the carrots somehow magically preserve themselves. No one knows how he does it, he claims it is a secret.
Noah is a regular boy bunny and is friends with everyone in Thicket. His best friend is Jenna, whom(is it who? or whom?) he has a crush on. He is too shy to tell her, and while everyone in Thicket knows, Jenna seems oblivious to the fact.
Noah is very impatient and doesn't like to be bothered when working. He also hates it when people try to see his carrot collection. The only person he has let see his collection is Jenna.


Bow bunny: Jenna

Jenna is a young girl in elementary school, about seven years old(like Noah). She is very outgoing and friendly, and easily makes friends. Her best friend is Noah, whom she harbors slight feelings for, but never really thinks about it. She is also very good friends with Rita, who is her role model.
She is nicknamed Bow by Uncle Mike. Jenna was the one who discovered Uncle Mike and came up with his name when he couldn't remember his("'Cause he looks like an Uncle Mike!").
Although Jenna is very sweet and loving, she has problems with her outer image. Although it is not obvious, she tries to cope with self-image issues when she gets back home(even though she is just a grade schooler).

So, those are the characters I created in ten hours yesterday I hope you like them, I tried making them as realistic as possible(characterization wise). I just don't want any of them to end up as Mary-Sues, because that's the worst... Tell me if you think one is, because I'd like to change that.

But anyway, this is what I call "Bunni Pile". Lovely...

And I stick a big fat copyright here, because I love my characters!
